Our Vision

Our goal is to EMPOWER our students and unleash their inner warrior to face all challenges in life with skill and confidence.  Our blend of realistic self defense training, fitness, and character development will embolden our students to become the best version of themselves!

Programs

Programs

Elite Martial Arts of Brentwood is Williamson County's only street-smart mixed martial arts system. We teach practical self defense for real-life situations, training you in Krav Maga, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Entry Level

5-9 year olds. Fundamental martial arts skills and coordination.

Level I

7-9 year olds. Mixed Martial Arts and Self Defense class that covers realistic defense for this age group, bully-proofing, and character education. Kids learn kickboxing, karate, krav maga, and grappling through fun, ninja-esque games and drills.

Level II

11-15 year olds. Mixed Martial Arts and Self Defense class. Covers higher level Jiu Jitsu ground techniques, Muay Thai kickboxing, Krav Maga, and character education in an exciting, kid-friendly format.

Level III

15 yrs and up. A self defense and fitness class that includes training in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Krav Maga, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Curriculum

 

Kenpo Karate: Modern karate skills focused on practical striking and increased dexterity.

 

Muay Thai Kickboxing: Western boxing strikes and defenses combined with the use of knees, elbows, kicks and clinch fighting.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Submission grappling (ground fighting) that includes takedowns, takedown defense, positioning, sweeps, escapes, arm/leg locks and chokes.

Krav Maga: Official fighting system of the Israeli Military. This  is a tactical street-fighting system that includes defense from multiple opponents, blunt objects and edged weapons.

About Us

Daniel Klapheke

Daniel Klapheke is the owner and head instructor of Elite Martial Arts of Brentwood. He has over 37 years of Martial Arts experience and has been teaching professionally for over 26 years. He is a 6th degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo Karate, a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a Black Belt in American Kenpo, has trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for more than 23 years and holds a blue belt. He is a certified Krav Maga instructor, has extensive training in Muay Thai Kickboxing and Modern Arnis (stick fighting). 

He trained William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) and Martin Kove (Sensei Kreese) for season 6 of Netflix's Cobra Kai.

Always learning and bring it back to his students, he has trained in Thailand and has traveled the United States to learn the latest fighting techniques from legends like Bas Rutten, Saenchai, Duane Ludwig, and many more.

Alisha Klapheke

Alisha Klapheke is the Co-Owner/Instructor. She has been training in martial arts for over 20 years and holds 3rd Degree Black Belt in Elite Mixed Martial Arts and a Black Belt in Kenpo Karate. She has extensive training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Krav Maga. She has a master's degree in education. After teaching elementary school for 5 years, she has made the commitment to teaching martial arts full time.

Rachel Ballard

Rachel is an assistant instructor and has been training in martial arts for 11 years. She holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Elite Mixed Martial Arts. She is well versed in Muay Thai kickboxing, karate, BJJ, and karate.

Davis Young

Davis is an assistant instructor and has been training in martial arts for 11 years. He holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Elite Mixed Martial Arts. He is well versed in Muay Thai kickboxing, karate, BJJ, and karate.
